Kame ManNen was first made in the 1917 at a time when product durability was highly regarded. The founders of Kame ManNen had a vision in mind; ” To create distinctly beautiful optical frames using the finest materials and built to last.

With passion and craftsmanship, Kame ManNen was born, given it’s name from an old Japanese proverb; “turtles live for a thousand years”. This proverb symbolises the collections’ timeless design and the meaning behind the turtle logo found on the temple tips.

SALT. Optics is Coming to St Louis exclusive to us!  We met with Joe, one of the founders and owners of SALT. He told us he was waiting around for us to finally commit to SALT. as a brand and bring it to St Louis. Joe has been following The Eye Bar for some time and could tell he wanted to work with us since we seemed to share so many core values as companies.  After talking for some time, we decided to work together!

This line of fine eyewear is sophisticated, classic, timeless, and is hand-made by the finest craftsman in Japan. You may have seen it at other fine eyewear boutiques in Chicago, New York, or L.A.  We are extremely happy to bring SALT. to our store adding this fantastic, independent, and classic eyewear to collections that you can only get at The Eye Bar in St Louis. 1. All of our frames have a one year warranty direct from the manufacture.  We have a current ongoing relationship with all the lines we carry.  Why is that so important? We never sell a frame we cant warrant or replace.  We never want to see someone spend $100-$1000 on lenses and not be able to fix a frame that something happened to (like your dog chewing up a temple).

2. Our lenses carry a 2 year warranty directly from our lab. We use the same labs that Stacey has had a relationship for 10 plus years.  This gives us great flexibility with warranty issues or problems that could possibly happen. You have 90 days to make sure the prescription from your Doctor is correct since we can remake the lenses one time at no charge.  We only offer the best lenses with the finest scratch coatings, UV protection and anti-reflective.
