Oliver Peoples Gregory Peck Glasses
- Time:Wednesday, 27 April 2011 00:00
In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Harper Lee’s Pulitizer Prize winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird and the Academy Award winning performance by Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch, Oliver Peoples is proud to launch the Gregory Peck frame. Inspired by the style worn by Mr. Peck as the lead character named the “Greatest Hero in the Movie History” by the American Film Institute, the project pays tribute to the novel and to the stellar performance by its namesake.
Anthony Peck, son of the late Gregory Peck, had the original optical frame worn in the film in his possession for many years. With the upcoming anniversary of the legendary literary work, he felt the timing was ideal to recreate this iconic style. As a loyal customer for many years, he knew Oliver Peoples was the right brand for the project and felt confident a true design representation of the original style could be achieved with the outstanding quality Oliver Peoples is known for.
Nice review from a new customer

Great experience! Got an appointment the same day, they were able to work me in no hassle. Very friendly service. I just needed a new prescription for contact lenses. My typical experience with eye exams is usually a huge pain where they try to sell you overpriced lenses and give you a glare when you just ask for a copy of your prescription. The whole process took less than 15 minutes, they handed me my prescription without asking and even recommended the cheapest place online to order from! Did I mention they offered me a beverage (beer) while I filled out the preliminary paperwork? They also have a nice selection of high end frames, but I was already satisfied with my current pair of glasses. They didn't try to get all salesy on me about that either. Highly recommend this place!

t2 eyewear going out of business??
- Time:Saturday, 16 April 2011 10:05
We were told that t2 Eyewear is closing up shop! We were told later by our Swissflex rep that we can service t2 frames if they need warranty or breakage repairs. So if you have bought t2 elsewhere over the years, rest assured we can service your eyewear. Swissflex, which is made the same way as t2 (a guy left Swissflex to start t2) is a brand we have worn for years and love. They are fantastic frames that last years, require minimum care, great for active people and are some of the lightest frames in the world.

We just love ic! berlin at The Eye Bar. Our customers and friends do too! Heres a fantastic video Ralph, who owns ic! berlin, put together. Its a great little glimpse into their culture, philosophy and technology that goes into making these fabulous sheet metal frames. From simple drawings, CAD design, tooling, metal stamping, laser engraving, hand finishing, inspection, and even Ralph singing!
Very. Cool. Company.
